Our main veterinarian, Avian And Exotic Animal Care, gives us HUGE discounts, but there are still bills that must be paid. Prescriptions alone for the birds cost nearly $1000.00 each and every year. Our secondary veterinarian is the Animal Emergerncy Hospital and Urgent Care at 409 Vick Avenue. They do not charge for wildlife emergency care. but they have a “Good Samaritan” program that is used to pay for ther expenses of helping wildlife. all donations to that program help them to help the birds.
